The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Saturday issued a warning that rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected to batter parts of Sindh, including Karachi, over the next 72 hours.
The NDMA predicted the rain system to remain in Sindh until August 12, affecting areas including Badin, Chhor, Dadu, Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, Karachi, Khairpur, Larkana, Mithi, Mitayari, Mirpur Khas, Naushero Feroze, Padidan, Sajawal, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tharparkar, Thatta, and Umarkot.

The NDMA also issued a warning to relevant departments to stay alert for potential emergencies or extreme weather conditions.
Due to ongoing weather conditions, glacial outbursts, flash floods, and landslides are predicted in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
