There have been reports that the release date Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dunki’ has been postponed after the makers of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire starring Prabhas picked the same date as Dunki’s.
However, the makers of Dunki has turned down all the rumours and confirmed that the movie will arrive on the pre-decided date i.e. December 22.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will arrive together. Previously, Dunki was to be released in June this year but was postponed to December, while Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire was to hit the screens on September 28 but was deferred due to unforeseen circumstances.
Dunki is said to be an immigration drama, starring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. On the other hand, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is an action drama starring Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles.

On the work front, Prabhas was last seen in Adipurush, and Shah Rukh Khan recently starred in Jawan which took its net domestic total to Rs 627.4 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
Directed by Atlee, Jawan was designed as Shah Rukh’s first pan-India film, with prominent releases in the Tamil and Telugu-language belts as well. The film has grossed a total of around Rs 60 crore from these versions.
