Has footballer Cristiano Ronaldo converted to Islam?

A video is circulating on social media in which a person lookalike world-famous football star Cristiano Ronaldo is sitting in a mosque and reciting the holy Quran.

Based on this video people are claiming that Ronaldo has accepted Islam in Saudi Arabia and this video he is reciting the Quran in a mosque, however, the man in the video is not Ronaldo.

The said video is being shared by a large number of users on Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms and the caption says that Cristiano Ronaldo is sitting in the mosque and reciting the Quran.

The caption of a post reads, ‘The person reciting the Quran is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo.’

But after watching the video carefully, the truth came out and it was found that the person seen in the video is Ronaldo’s lookalike whose name is ‘Beaver Abdullah’. A video of Abdullah reciting the Holy Quran was shared on Tik Tok which went viral and falsely attributed to Ronaldo.

It should be noted that Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr, a club in the Saudi Pro League. He joined the team in December 2022.
