ISLAMABAD: Adviser to PM on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh is scheduled to chair an Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting in the federal capital today.
During the meeting, important points will be discussed today. The approval in the hike in gas prices will be considered as it has been earlier proposed that a 214 percent hike was decided.
Earlier the ECC meeting was held last month where a $100 million for the Pakistan Mortgage Refinery Company was approved whereas the Finance Ministry accepted a supplementary grant of Rs80 million.
The agenda of the meeting included the supplementary grant of Rs100 million for the e-governance programme.
