KARACHI: Supreme Court has ordered the immediate removal of Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab.
The Gutter Baghicha case land acquisition case was heard in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry during which Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed expressed outrage over Murtaza Wahab’s provocation in the courtroom.
Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed ordered Murtaza Wahab to leave the courtroom immediately and told him to leave. The court remarked that Murtaza Wahab is not eligible for Administrator Karachi.
He also directed the Sindh chief minister to immediately appoint another administrator in place of Murtaza Wahab. Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that Murtaza Wahab was acting as a politician instead of an administrator.
During the hearing of the case, the Chief Justice remarked that those who would have thought that there could be constructions on the plots will remain the same. The time has come for all the societies of KMC to be abolished, he remarked.
