LAHORE: Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that the incumbent government would complete its five years tenure.
While talking to media in Lahore today, Sheikh Rasheed said that the opposition could not do anything against the government.
The railway minister further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would not go anywhere so those who opposed it were free to protest.
He pointed out at Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazulr Rehman by saying that he would not stage another protest against the government.
Speaking on the issue of the wheat and sugar crisis, the railway minister said that Imran Khan has admitted his negligence over this issue. No other leader has ever admitted his mistake in such cases, he added..
Referring to former premier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz, Rasheed said that neither Nawaz Sharif would return to the country nor Maryam would travel abroad.
Earlier he said that he was working with the Sindh government to complete the Karachi Circular Railway project. There were so many hurdles in the circular railway project but working with the Sindh government to complete it, he added.
“We can meet the deficit of railways if we sell even one building in Karachi,” he said.
