ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that the current government is scared of every gathering due to which it is erecting unnecessary obstacles.
His comments came hours after Islamabad Police issued statement that persons (litigants) whose cases were fixed for hearing would be allowed to enter the Supreme Court’s premises today (Monday). The police spokesperson said that those having permits issued by the court’s administration would also be allowed to enter the building. He said that respect for the law was mandatory for all and it would be enforced on an equal footing.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, Fawad Chaudhry said lawyers were only there at the Supreme Court to express their solidarity, and the state should have been thankful to them. “Here the government appears scared of constitution and barring the court from dispensing its duty,” he added.
