The government on Thursday evening decided to keep the prices of petrol unchanged for the next fortnight, however, the high-speed diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs7 per liter while kerosene oil reduced by 3.82 per liter.
The light diesel oil has also been cut by Rs4.52.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar approved the new fuel prices which will be effective from Thursday midnight and remain in place till December 15.

Earlier this month, the government slashed the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs2.04 and Rs6.47, respectively, following a fortnightly revision.
The prices of kerosene oil (SKO) and light diesel oil (LDO) have been slashed by Rs3.82 per liter and Rs4.52 per liter respectively.
Following the reduction in the prices, the SKO has been reduced to Rs201.16, while LDO’s new price will be Rs175.93 instead of Rs180.45 per liter.
