PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Wednesday said that all-out resources will be utilised to make Peshawar an advanced and developed city.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, the chief minister said that the provincial government was committed to transforming the provincial capital on modern lines.
He said a comprehensive plan has been evolved for this purpose. The chief minister said seven new heritage trails will be constructed in the city to attract more foreign tourists.
He said a practicable traffic management plan has also been constituted for a lasting solution to traffic problems in the city.

Earlier on October 3, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had claimed that Lahore will be made a smart city by 2025.
Talking to a delegation led by CEO Huawei Pakistan Saif Chi, the Punjab chief minister said digital monitoring through Safe City Authority has helped in overcoming crimes and this digital monitoring will also be started in major cities of the province in a phased manner.
He welcomed the technical assistance of Huawei in the establishment of Safe City Authority, and hoped that it will also extend cooperation in the digitisation of Punjab.
