The government has launched a crackdown on non-custom-paid (NCP) and unregistered vehicles. The operation is being carried out jointly by the Excise Department, Customs, and the Police.
According to the spokesperson for the Excise Department, the formal operation against NCP vehicles has commenced. In addition to Quetta, the campaign has been initiated in Mastung, Khuzdar, Surab, Turbat, Nushki, and Nasirabad. It also targets narcotics and unregistered vehicles.
The campaign, which began on Tuesday, will continue for one month. The Excise Department spokesperson stated that the campaign’s scope will soon be expanded to other districts. District administration officials and Customs Police are actively participating in the operation, which is being led by the Excise Department.
During the NCP operation, suspicious and unregistered vehicles will be seized and handed over to the Excise Department. Authorities highlighted that the joint operation has been planned in line with provincial government directives, with strict action being taken against NCP vehicles.
Officials emphasized that eliminating drugs and ensuring public safety remain top priorities. Efforts against drug trafficking and NCP vehicles will continue to eliminate lawlessness from society.
