Gold prices rebounded on Monday, with the rate for one tola of gold increasing by Rs500 to reach Rs282,900 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs429, selling at Rs242,541, according to figures shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This recovery follows a slight decline on Saturday, when the price per tola fell by Rs200, settling at Rs282,400.
On the international market, gold prices also saw an uptick. According to APGJSA, the rate climbed by $5 during the day to $2,708 per ounce (including a $20 premium).
In contrast, silver prices saw a decrease of Rs9, with the rate per tola standing at Rs3,372.
