Gold prices in Pakistan saw a sharp rise on Thursday, mirroring gains in the international market.
According to data issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold surged by Rs4,300 per tola, reaching Rs358,400. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,687, bringing the new rate to Rs307,270.
This marks a notable shift from Wednesday, when gold prices remained stable in the local market.
Internationally, gold prices also climbed, rising by $43 to $3,400 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.
In addition, silver prices in the domestic market increased by Rs159, bringing the rate to Rs3,745 per tola.
