Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is on a quest to make box-office history with his latest film, “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time), which premiered in theatres on Thursday. According to box-office tracking portal Sacnilk.com, the sci-fi action thriller is expected to surpass ₹1 billion globally on its first day of release.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, “GOAT” marks the penultimate film for Thalapathy Vijay before his anticipated political debut. The movie showcases the Tamil star in a dual role, and the ensemble cast includes notable actors like Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Jayaram, and Ajmal Ameer.
The plot centers around a retired RAW agent who, after a distinguished career, seeks a peaceful life with his family. However, enemies from his past resurface, forcing him back into action. With significant fan anticipation, GOAT promises to deliver plenty of surprises.
