WASHINGTON: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has reached 107.851 million and 2,364,881 people have lost their lives.
More than 798.54 million patients of coronavirus have been cured in the world and more than 25.484 million are undergoing treatment. The situation in coronavirus is the worst in the United States, with 483,200 deaths and more than 278.97 million people affected.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 155,399 deaths and more than 1871,000 people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 234,945 and more than 96.62 million people are affected.
More than 4,012,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Russia, bringing the total death toll to 78,134. More than 3,985,000 people have been affected in the UK and 114,851 deaths have been reported.
In France, more than 3.385 million people were affected and 80,443 lost their lives. More than 3,023,000 people were affected and 63,704 died in Spain. In Italy, more than 2.668 million people have been affected, while 92,338 people have died.
The first 50 million cases were reported in 356 days, while the last 50 million cases were registered in just ninety days. According to statistics, the first case of coronavirus was registered on 17th November 2019, after which the number of cases reached one crore on 27th June 2020.
