WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has infected 47,844,811 people and killed 1,220,224 people worldwide.
The number of healthy people from coronavirus has risen to 34,352,711 and there are 12,271,876 active cases. The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with more than 238,000 deaths and 9,692,528 people infected.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 1,23,650 deaths and more than 83,112,000 people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 160,548 and more than 5.567 million people are affected.
In Russia, more than 1,673,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 28,828. In France, more than 1.5 million people have been affected and 38,289 have lost their lives. More than 1.331 million people have been affected in Spain, while 36,495 have died.

In Argentina, more than 1.195 million people have been affected and 32,000 have died. More than 31,000 deaths and 1,099,000 cases have been reported in Colombia.
The world’s first death from coronavirus was reported on 11th January 2020 in China. On 9th April, the total death toll from the virus rose to 100,000. The first 100,000 deaths from Corona were reported in the first 89 days.
