ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan along with Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari paid a surprised visit at Islamabad International Airport on Sunday.
The officials paid the visit at the airport to inspect the steps taken to deal with the additional load of flights due to operations being limited to Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad Airports.
The officials were also informed about the precautionary measures taken by the airport authorities after the rise of the Coronavirus cases in Pakistan.
They reviewed the screening process for travelers arriving from international and regional flights. Ghulam Sarwar Khan examined the process of filling health declaration forms for travelers coming from international flights.
The ministers also inspect information desks and isolation rooms at Islamabad International Airport. Ghulam Sarwar Khan instructed the Aviation Division to ensure better facilities for passengers.
