Two physics professors at Ghazi University in Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan have been accused of sexually assaulting a young female student, it emerged on Tuesday.
The student alleged that both the teachers are from the physics department and now they are blackmailing her younger sister.
The girl, who is a student of BS graduation at Ghazi University in Dera Ghazi Khan, shared her ordeal in a viral video shared by a journalist from KPK.

She even warned of setting herself to fire if the VC of the varsity did not take any action, saying its impossible for her to live under these circumstances. The victim said she was intimidated not to share the horrific incident with any other student or heads of any department.
The varsity’s spokesperson said it’s an old issue and the university had taken action against the suspects. “Both the teachers have been suspended and a departmental inquiry is also under way,” said the spokesperson.
Following the viral statement of the girl, a case under section 376 has been registered at Gadai police station in Dera Ghazi Khan against two professors and a teacher.
According to the FIR, Dr. Zafar Wazeer raped the student, who was lured by her colleague. The FIR further stated that Professor Khalid Khattak also ‘threatened’ her for ‘illicit relations’ with him.
