14 percent of Pakistan population don’t know who their prime minister is as Gallup recently published the results of a survey conducted between June 28 and July 10, which gauged public awareness of the current Prime Minister’s name.
The survey, which involved over 700 participants from across the country, revealed that 65% of Pakistanis correctly identified Shehbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister, demonstrating a high level of awareness.
However, 20% of respondents provided incorrect answers, and 14% admitted they did not know the Prime Minister’s name.
The survey also highlighted gender differences: 71% of men and 61% of women were able to correctly name the Prime Minister.
Morevoer, urban respondents showed greater awareness compared to their rural counterparts, with 72% of city dwellers correctly identifying Shehbaz Sharif, compared to 63% in rural areas.
