ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the hearing of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)’s filed petition in the foreign funding case till December.
The IHC Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani resumed hearing of the PTI appeal today.

The PTI’s junior lawyer appealed to the court to delay the hearing for a brief period as his senior lawyer was in the Supreme Court for hearing of a case.
The court could not wait for the lawyer after 11:00 and adjourned the hearing till the first week of December.

A petition was filed by the PTI in the high court on 7th November to examine the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)’s decision held on 10th October which had rejected the ruling party’s applications against an audit of its foreign funding.

The PTI in its applications had challenged the scrutiny committee’s investigation without informing party members and then leaking the details of applicatoion.
