CALIFORNIA: The cast of famous sitcom “Friends” is all set to reunite for a one-off special that will air on the HBO Max streaming service in May 2020.
The date of the special screening that will feature Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer has not been decided yet.
Earlier today Perry, Schwimmer, Cox, and Aniston posted on Instagram: “It’s happening” with a photo of the cast from the 1990s.

Sources have confirmed that all the six cast members will receive at least $2.5 million apiece for participating in the special. The reunion has been hotly anticipated, with speculation about the HBO Max special swirling since last year.
Last year, Aniston hinted that the ‘Friends’ cast has been working on a project together. The actress revealed the news that “Something is happening but we don’t know what that something is.”
Friends aired from 1994 until 2004. The final show was watched by 52.5 million viewers in the US, making it the most-watched TV episode of the 2000s.
