Four suspects killed in Muzaffarpur police encounter

MUZAFFARPUR: Four suspected outlaws were killed during an alleged encounter with police in Muzaffarpur area of district Sialkot in the wee hours of Monday.

 According to police sources, a police team headed by Muzaffarpur police station’s SHO conducted an operation in the possible hideout of the suspects. “Seeing police team the criminals opened fire the police also retaliated”,

Police adding that during the shootout for some time three suspects were killed on the spot by his accomplice firing, while one of their accomplice sustained gunshots in their legs. Police further said during transporting to a hospital for treatment immediately after the arrest, the suspect succumbed to his injuries.

Police also claimed that both of them are notorious robbers who were wanted to the police in several criminal cases. The police recovered two TT-pistols, two motorbikes and looted cash from the scene.

Meanwhile,   Hyderabad police arrested Two suspects wanted to the Jamshoro police in different criminal cases, including ro0bbery on buses on the Indus Highway in injured condition after an encounter. The encounter took place on Sandos Company Road in Baigo Mirjat village in Jamshoro.

Jamshoro SSP Bashir Ahmed Brohi told the media that the police signaled a car to stop but it tried to flee under the cover offring. He said identities of the injured suspects as Badal Bugti and Sarfaraz Panhwar and their accomplices as Jehangir Panhwar, Aslam Brohi and Akbar Brohi still large.
