RAWALPINDI: Four people, including three security guards, were injured in the firing of the occupation mafia in Sangjani area of Rawalpindi.
According to sources, the tragic incident took place in the Sangjani area of Rawalpindi under the patronage of a police sub-inspector Lal Shah.
Sources informed that an attempt was made to grab worth billions of land belonging to the Housing Society of retired officers of the Pakistan Army by the land grabbers under the police connivance.
Three guards and machine operators of the society were seriously injured due to firing and stoning during the illegal occupation attempt, sources added.
Security guard Mohammad Irfan said that on July 4, at 12.30 pm, “When we went to work on the site with machinery, the Shah family, a land mafia, suddenly attacked us.
The attackers included Barkat Shah, Imdad Shah, Mazhar Shah, Fayyaz Shah, Noor Shah, Naveed Shah, Abrar Shah and three other unidentified persons. Ifran further said, “Our mobile phones and money were stolen and we were injured”.
On which the security in-charge and management of the society separately applied for action in the Taxila police station and CPO office. However, no FIRs were registered yet.
The victims have appeal to Prime Minister Imran Khan and other concerned authorities to take action against the accused persons.
