ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office has welcomed the European Union’s decision of removing Pakistan from its list of ‘High-Risk Third Countries’.
According to the details, the Foreign Office welcomed the decision of the European Union to remove Pakistan from the list of high-risk countries and said that the efforts of the Foreign Minister cannot be ignored.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Office welcoming the decision of the European Union, it has been said that the move recognizes Pakistan’s performance in overcoming technical issues related to countering the financing of terrorism.

In a statement issued yesterday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the EU had removed Pakistan from a similar list in November last year, after which this new decision has come.
In a statement, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the removal from the list will facilitate financial transactions between Pakistan and EU institutions. Pakistan is looking forward to mutually beneficial economic cooperation with the European Union.
Foreign Office Spokesperson said that Pakistan is also looking forward to promoting the development of economic cooperation and sharing its experience in upgrading AML and CFT regimes with partner countries.
