ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has voiced its strong condemnation over the Israeli forces’ attack on Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, which resulted in hundreds of injuries.
Foreign Office spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed dismay and condemned the assault on worshippers by Israeli police, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
Several Palestinians including women and children were injured when Israeli forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem on Tuesday night.

The incident sparked protests across the occupied West Bank and the Israeli military said nine rockets were fired from Gaza toward Israel after sirens blared in southern towns.
Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that the act of Israeli forces has deeply hurt the sentiments of Muslims across the world. She urged the international community to take urgent action to protect innocent Palestinian lives and uphold international law and the principles of the UN Charter.
She reiterated Pakistan’s unchanged stance towards Israel and affirmed that there are no diplomatic or trade relations between the two countries.
