LAHORE: Police have arrested five suspects for poisoning the children of Jamshed Iqbal, advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on agricultural and food security.
An investigation has been launched against the accused. According to details, around 8 pm last night, children under the age of 13 were allegedly poisoned by unidentified persons, which made the condition of the children worse.
The children were rushed to a private hospital and their stomachs were washed. Doctors said that the condition of children is now out of danger.

According to reliable sources, the employees of the house were arrested. The police of the concerned police station has registered a case on the charge of poisoning both the children.
Officials said that the case was registered at the instigation of Jamshed Cheema’s wife Musarat Jamshed, in which five employees are in custody. According to police, Jamshed Iqbal’s cousins Mohammad Iqbal, security guards, drivers Waqar and Iqbal besides Mohammad Ramzan were also arrested.
