A mother and daughter were shot in a firing incident near Sherpao Colony on Saturday in what the police believe to be a deliberate attack.
According to details, the tragic incident took place this morning near Sherpao Colony in Landhi that claimed two lives. Landhi police in this regard stated the mother and daughter who died in the shooting were killed by a man who was identified as the husband of the deceased daughter.
The accused opened fire on his mother-in-law and wife, killing both women, and fled after the incident. The accused shot and killed the mother and daughter over domestic violence. Police said that raids were being carried out to nab the fugitive accused who would be arrested soon.
Four days ago today, the incident took place in the Chamkani police station area of Peshawar where unidentified gunmen opened fire on a house, killing seven people.
Chamkani police said the dead belonged to the same family, including three brothers. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
