LAHORE: A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in Lahore’s S]undar Industrial Estate on Friday morning.
According to rescue officials, the fire broke out inside a chemical drum inside the factory. Twelve fire trucks have been called in to douse the blaze.
Rescue officials said 35 rescue and 12 emergency vehicles are participating in fire fighting operations. The fire and smoke has increased intensity due to the chemicals and winds and has engulfed the entire factory.
Around 10-12 people were presented in the factory when the fire erupted. So far, no deaths or injuries have been reported. However, no deaths or injuries have been reported so far
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and has fought a report from Lahore Commissioner. He also instructed to douse the fire at the earliest.
