The time has arrived for FIFA to honor the top athletes and coaches of 2022 with The Best honors.
One of the biggest football-related award shows, where a number of celebrities could win prizes.
“The Best FIFA Football Awards are almost upon us, as superstars from across the globe look to be crowned across a range of illustrious categories,” FIFA’s official website reads.
“Players who impressed during the relevant qualifying periods have been whittled down to three outstanding candidates across seven categories, while selections will be made for the FIFA FIFPRO Men’s and Women’s World 11s.
“This year will be the seventh The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony to take place since its inception in 2016, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Manuel Neuer and Megan Rapinoe all successful in recent years.”
When is The Best Awards 2022?
FIFA’s The Best awards ceremony will take place in Paris on Monday, February 27.
The world football governing body has officially announced that the event will start at 21:00 CET.

For fans in the UK that is 20:00 GMT, while the start time for The Best in the USA is 15:00 ET / 12:00 PT.

For yet another year, fans can watch The Best FIFA Football Awards live on FIFA’s official YouTube channel.
Who is nominated for The Best 2022?
Robert Lewandowski received The Best FIFA Men’s Player prize last year, with Alexia Putellas being named The Best FIFA Women’s Player.
For the 2022 edition, which is being held in 2023, Karim Benzema, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2022.
Meanwhile, the list with The Best FIFA Women’s Player 2022 nominees includes Beth Mead, Alex Morgan and Putellas.
Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola and Lionel Scaloni will compete for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2022, with Sonia Bompastor, Pia Sundhage and Sarina Wiegman being nominated for The Best FIFA Women’s Coach 2022 award.
