ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday has asked the British government to record witness testimony via video link in the murder case of Dr Imran Farooq.
According to the reports, in a fresh letter, the FIA prosecution team has requested to the British authorities to record witness testimonies in the assassination case of former Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader.

An anti-terrorism court has accepted a request to record the statement of more United Kingdom witnesses via video link and instructed to make arrangements at the Pakistani high commission in London.
The FIA has sent the British authorities a list of witnesses and requested about their presence to record testimony in the murder case of Imran Farooq. According to the sources, through the Foreign Office, the letter was written to the UK Border Agency.
Meanwhile, the FIA’s prosecution team waiting for a response from the British authorities on the matter.
