KARACHI: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Ali Zaidi has tested negative on Sunday.
Earlier, Ali Zaidi in his statement on Twitter said that he had quarantined himself after testing positive for COVID-19.
“I will keep using Social Media and expose those who have robbed this nation and continue to damage us even today May Allah give strength to all those who stand for justice,” the minister tweeted.
After defeating the COVID-19 today, Ali Zaidi said, “By the grace of God, my coronavirus test result was negative. One should not be afraid of Corona but fight” he added.
In his message, Ali Zaidi thanked the people for their prayers and prayed that Allah Almighty keep everyone away from diseases and troubles. He also urged people to wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus.

Several Pakistani politicians including PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif, ANP’s Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, and Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari had tested positive for coronavirus, after which they went into self-isolation and recovered.
PTI Punjab Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Shaheen Raza was the first lawmaker in the country who died due to COVID-19 a few months ago.
PTI MPA Mian Jamsheduddin Kakakhel from Nowshera and PML-N MPA Shaukat Manzoor Cheema from Gujranwala also passed away in June after being on the ventilator for a few days.
