ISLAMABAD: The federal government has declared 5th February a public holiday on Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The Interior Ministry has issued a notification for the 5th February public holiday. All government, semi-government and private institutions will remain closed. On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, official and unofficial events will be organized across the country to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
In addition, rallies, talks, and conferences will be organized in all major and minor cities to highlight the importance of the Kashmir issue and the right of Kashmiris to self-determination, and the oppression of the unarmed people by the Indian occupying forces.
