Actor Faysal Quraishi, who reigns over both films and dramas, has declared a blunt statement on award shows.
The Fitoor actor while sharing an opinion on Pakistani awards said that there should be no audience based awards. According to him, all over the world, experts of the fields gather in a jury which decides who will get the awards and those awards are considered credible. The actor said that he would also like to get an award which will be decided by experts.
“With audience based awards, only people with mega followings take trophies,” he said. He spoke about how Indians love to watch Pakistani dramas and the dramas have always been popular across the border.
He revealed that a famous Indian choreographer once met him and told him how Indian streets used to shut down when ‘Meri Zaat Zara e Benishan’ and ‘Humsafar’ were airing and people loved them.
