Actor Sheheryar Munawar has spilled the beans about his first play ‘Zindagi Gulzar’ with Pakistan’s heartthrob Fawad Khan in a recent interview.
The Pehli Si Muhabbat actor, during an interview, revealed how much he has groomed since his debut. Speaking of Fawad Khan, the main lead of the drama, Sheheryar said he was tough on him. “Fawad was straight out of Humsafar and I was just a newbie,” he asserted.
The fact that I was the nephew of the director also contributed to it. He was tough on me…He wasn’t a bully like the ones we see on television, but he was hard on me.”
However, the actor revealed that he and Fawad are on good terms now. He respects Fawad as a senior actor and he has also made his cameo in two of Sheheryar’s movies.
He shared that his experience of working in Zindagi Gulzar was ‘terrible’. According to him, acting in that drama was his worst performance ever.

When he was asked about his bitter experience, Sheheryar Munawar revealed that it was due to the absence of a mentor. He further said that the actors were not helpful either as he was only a student when he was offered the role of Osama in Zindagi Gulzar Hai.
According to him, he did not know anything about the reel life. Moreover, there was nobody to teach him how to convey his lines or understand the character.
