Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 57 runs in the second match of the 3-match T20 series, securing an unassailable lead in the series. This is Pakistan’s first T20 series victory at home since 2021.
At Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan set a target of 202 runs for Bangladesh to win. In response, the losing team was restricted to 144 runs in 19 overs. Sahibzada Farhan, who was included in the team in place of the injured Fakhar Zaman, was the top scorer with 74 runs.
Hasan Nawaz remained unbeaten with 51 runs off 26 balls, while Mohammad Haris scored 41 off 25 balls, and captain Salman Agha made 19 runs off 12 balls.
