TAXILA: Relatives of a man, who died in Taxila police custody in mysterious circumstances on Saturday, have started protesting, demanding justice from high authorities.
As per details, Adil, a resident of Taxila, was arrested by the police two days ago. Relatives and residents of the area started protesting at Sara-e-Kala Chowk after the news of Adil’s death broke out.
CPO Syed Shehzad Nadim Bukhari’s notice of citizens’ protest and order an inquiry. SSP Operations Wasim Riaz Khan was ordered to submit an immediate inquiry report.

According to the relatives, Adil was killed in police custody under controversial circumstances. The family demanded an FIR to be registered against the police officials.
As per police, strict action will be taken against the officials if the inquiry proves them guilty of torture.
