Senator Faisal Vawda has asserted that former Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), General (retd) Faiz Hameed, may face either the death penalty or life imprisonment.
He remarked, “I am traveling abroad; I intend to bring back positive news. The reversal of judicial decisions is a matter of national disgrace. Gandapur seems to be acting as the Chief Minister, while Barrister Gujjar appears to be leading the PTI. Both the government and PTI are intent on keeping Imran Khan incarcerated.”
In an interview with with Aaj News, Faisal Vawda contended that Faiz Hameed will not serve as a witness in a plea bargain, and that the processes of punishment and court-martial will continue.
He further noted that the Army Chief has initiated accountability measures, and that General Faiz’s punishment will not be halted.
Faisal Vawda also indicated that the acquisition of 1,010 vehicles has been suspended, and that he has received communications from the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), along with threats from FBR officials.
He expressed that he is under significant pressure from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), but emphasized that he is resolute and possesses substantial evidence.
