Factory employee robbed of Rs0.5mn in SITE area

KARACHI: Two criminals on Sunday looted half a million rupees from a factory employee, in another incident regarding the rising number of street crimes in the city.

The incident occurred in SITE area and was caught on a camera located in the car. The footage clearly shows two suspects robbing Rs500,000 from Shafiuudin who worked in a factory. One of the suspects first searches the car and then recovers the money from the victim’s clothes.

Local police said that suspects followed Sharifuddin’s car after spotting the cash with him in Orangi Town. The factory has an outlet in Orangi where several workers bring cash.

The suspects saw the cash at the shop and start following Shafiuddin’s car and eventually robbed him when they saw an opportunity. A case has been registered by the factory’s owner Hanif and police have followed to arrest the suspects.
