Recent rumors circulating on social media and traditional media outlets have claimed that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has stopped issuing visas to Pakistani citizens. However, the Pakistani Embassy in the UAE has now issued a clarification, rejecting these false claims.
In a statement, the Pakistani Embassy strongly denied media reports that suggested the UAE government had shared an official document with the embassy detailing the reasons for any visa restrictions imposed on Pakistani nationals. The embassy called these reports “factually incorrect” and confirmed that no such document had been shared by the UAE authorities.
“The Pakistan Embassy in the UAE rejects the recent media reports referring to the sharing of a document by the UAE government citing reasons for imposing visa restrictions on Pakistani nationals,” the statement said.
The embassy emphasized that Pakistan continues to have strong and cordial relations with the UAE, with both governments committed to addressing any mutual concerns through official channels and constructive dialogue. The statement also assured that the interests of Pakistani nationals in the UAE remain fully safeguarded by the embassy, which will continue working closely with UAE authorities to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
The clarification comes as a relief to many, dispelling rumors that had caused concern among Pakistani nationals seeking visas to the UAE.
