Expensive machines stolen from Karachi’s civil hospital

KARACHI: Thieves in the metropolis have not even spared medical facilities, as machines worth millions of rupees were stolen from the government-run Civil Hospital in Karachi, it emerged on Monday.

According to hospital administration, the incident took place during the two-day official holiday of Ashura when robbers barged into the neurology OPD and took away costly machines with them.

The hospital spokesman said that the administration has summoned security officials of the Civil hospital and investigating the matter.
