MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla, who starred in several popular television shows, was cremated on Friday afternoon in Mumbai, a day after his tragic and untimely demise.
According to Indian media, Sidharth’s body was taken from the Cooper hospital in a flower-decked ambulance to the Oshiwara crematorium, where his relatives, friends and colleagues were present to pay their last respects to the departed soul.

Sidharth’s mother Rita Shukla and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill were inconsolable at his funeral. Many celebrities including Asim Riaz, Aly Goni, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rashami Desai reached the crematorium to bid one final goodbye to the Balika Vadhu star.
On Thursday, Actor Varun Dhawan, Gauahar Khan, Jasmin Bhasin, Rahul Vaidya, Disha Parmar and Maniesh Paul visited the late actor’s residence to offer their condolences to Sidharth’s family. His former Bigg Boss co-contestant Asim Riaz was also spotted at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santokh Singh Sukh, in an interview with SpotboyE said, “I am not in the condition to talk right now. I cannot believe whatever has happened,” he said. Speaking of his daughter Shehnaaz, he said, “I spoke to her. She is not fine. My son Shehbaaz has left for Mumbai to be with her and I will be going later.”
Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill participated in Bigg Boss 13, which the actor won. They also featured together in a couple of music videos after Bigg Boss 13 concluded, among them were Bhula Dunga and Shona Shona.
Initial reports suggested Sidharth had suffered a heart attack; Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, where he was taken, will conduct a post-mortem.
