Electricity will become cheaper by another 7 to 8 rupees per unit in the coming days according to Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, as reported by national media.
According to details, while addressing farmers in Jaranwala on Sunday, Federal Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said that agriculture should be included in the curriculum. He added that China has brought about a revolution through progressive farming, and the Prime Minister has requested special cooperation from China in this matter.
The Federal Law Minister said that to increase awareness of modern agricultural technology, one thousand of our agricultural graduates are going to China for training.
Azam Nazeer Tarar said that good seeds are also necessary for better yield. The Prime Minister is committed to seed development. The current grain crisis is temporary and will be controlled soon. The problems arising from the end of the support price are also temporary.
He said that the Punjab government has given a package of 15 billion rupees to farmers. Providing affordable fertilizer to farmers is our top priority, and the government is working for the betterment of wheat-growing farmers.
He said that we are having to make difficult decisions. He further stated that the federal government will provide more relief in electricity prices, and in the coming days, the price of electricity will be reduced by another 7 to 8 rupees per unit. He also mentioned that work is being done to reduce fertilizer prices as well.
