Tremors were felt in Barkhan district, Balochistan, early Tuesday; just hours after Karachi experienced an earthquake of 4.7 magnitude.
As of now, no reports of damage or casualties have been confirmed.
The earthquake, registering a magnitude of 3.9, struck at a depth of 12 kilometers, according to the US Geological Survey. Its epicenter was located 59 kilometers northwest of Barkhan.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, though no significant effects have been observed at this time.
Earlier, on Eid, Karachi also experienced tremors around 4 p.m., with the Meteorological Department reporting a magnitude of 4.7. The epicenter was found 75 kilometers north of the city.
While no injuries or damage were reported, residents were alarmed by the tremors. According to the USGS, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.6, with its epicenter located 65 kilometers east-southeast of Uthal in Balochistan at a depth of 10 kilometers.
