A 4.4 magnitude earthquake jolted Pishin and its surrounding areas in Balochistan on Tuesday.
According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 21 kilometers southeast of Pishin, at a depth of 12 kilometers. No loss of life or property was immediately reported; however, the tremors caused panic among residents. In some areas, people rushed out of their homes and began reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.
Earthquake tremors were also felt in various areas of Karachi on Monday. According to the Seismological Center, the first tremor had a magnitude of 2.5, and the second measured 2.6. Both had an epicenter approximately 40 kilometers underground near DHA City. The tremors triggered panic, prompting many residents to evacuate their homes.
It is worth noting that the total number of earthquake tremors recorded in Karachi since June 1 has now reached 42.
