Dua Lipa is set to surpass Adele as Britain’s highest-earning female singer, having reportedly earned nearly £68 million.
A report in The Sun reveals that Lipa and her father, Dukagjin (known as Dugi), collaborated to manage her commercial assets effectively.
Records indicate that Lipa’s business, Radical22, co-founded with her father, boasted net assets of £29.9 million in December 2022, nearly three times the £11.6 million recorded in 2019. This surpasses the earnings attributed to Adele in the UK. Adele’s companies saw assets rise to £50 million following the success of her fourth album, “30,” released in 2021.
Despite Lipa’s commercial success, Adele maintains a higher total fortune, with a reported net worth of approximately £165 million, up £15 million from 2022. In contrast, Lipa’s net worth is estimated to be around £27.5 million by the end of 2022.
Interestingly, Lipa’s collaboration with her father has drawn comparisons to the relationship between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun in the music industry. The report notes that Dugi prioritizes his daughter’s best interests, emphasizing Lipa’s new strategy to secure ownership of her songs. The move echoes Taylor Swift’s approach, empowering female pop stars to rewrite their narratives and control their financial destinies. The report speculates that by the age of 40, Dua Lipa could potentially become a billionaire.
