Dr. Zakir Naik, who has been in Pakistan for a series of lecturers, issued a warning to content creators on the YouTube monetization earning program, saying that it is “forbidden” according to fundamental Islamic principles.
The founder of Peace TV discussed his opinions on YouTube revenue in his most recent public appearance in Port City, labeling it “haram” and debating the material used in advertisements. In response to a person, the famous preacher raised ethical questions about the money made by music and images of women in commercials, saying, “You can’t stop ads with women in revealing clothes even if you block alcohol ads.”
He emphasized the importance of avoiding obtaining money via unethical ways and urged the questioners to stop influencing YouTube and concentrate on their faith.
He assured them that giving up ad revenue would not have a detrimental effect on their standard of living but would instead result in more blessings.
Earlier, Dr. Naik drew flak from netizens for criticizing PIA for not letting him carry excess baggage without any charge. Naik believed as a state guest, he shouldn’t have been charged for excess baggage, as has been his experience in India.
When the airline offered him a 50% discount for 500-600 kg of excess baggage, Naik rejected the offer. He argued that in India, he was often allowed to travel with significant amounts of luggage without charges, and that he expected similar treatment from Pakistan.
