KARACHI: The United States dollar has increased 96 paisas and jumped to 166.50 against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank exchange on Monday.
The earlier rate of one US dollar was Rs 165.54. Earlier on Friday, the US dollar swiftly lost Rs4 in inter-bank rate against the Pakistani rupee after the State Bank of Pakistan interfered to check the steep upward curve in its value.
The dollar was accessible at Rs 165 after reaching another high of Rs 169 earlier on Friday morning.
