Let’s just agree part 5 of ‘La Casa De Papel’ aka ‘Money Heist’ left us in tears after Tokyo’s unexpected sacrifice; no one was ready for it.
With an amalgamation of interesting plot twists, Money Heist’s part one of the final seasons was screened on Netflix on 3rd September and in the ending, we all witnessed Toyko, played by Úrsula Corberó, sacrificing herself to save her team.
In her last scene which is also the last season of the season’s episode, when Tokyo gets gunned down by the military sent in by the police, and the final scene shows Gandia standing over her with a gun pointed to her head. Before he can fire, however, Tokyo smiles at him and a close-up of the scene shows she has something special in her hand: the pin to multiple grenades, strapped onto her body.

The scene and the final episode of this half end with a blast. We assume Tokyo is dead, and she’s taken at least Gandia with her if not more people. But is Tokyo really dead? The answer, is, however, probably, a ‘yes- Tokyo really is dead’. While the season’s last part is due in December so is she really dead depends on the second and the last part.
The season ends with the rest of the gang struggling to process Tokyo’s death, before cutting to the release date of the last ever episode i.e. on Friday 3rd December 2021.
