ISLAMABAD: Direct flights from Kazakhstan to various cities in Pakistan will start this year with the aim of promoting relations between the two countries.
According to the details, Kazakhstan will start direct flights from the country’s largest city Almaty to Lahore and Karachi this year to promote business and public relations with Pakistan.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerevan Mustafin while addressing the business community on the occasion of his visit to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that we will start direct flights between Almaty and Lahore in April.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan said that direct flights between Almaty and Karachi will be started in May, while this year the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Pakistan during which important meetings will be held.
Yerevan Mustafin said that 20 memorandums of understanding will be signed on the occasion of the visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Pakistan. The visit will be a means of promoting cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
It should be noted that friendly relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan started in 1992, after which mutual relations were expanded. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan said that a new chapter of trade and economic relations between the two countries will begin.
