Khalil ur Rehman Qamar hit hard on feminists while giving an interview on Eid where he said that this film represents how he thinks and it was written seven months before his altercation with Marvi Sirmed. According to him, it does not have anything to do with it.
Qamar also said that this film will put all his haters to shame and they will not be able to find a place to hide. Khalil ur Rehman has frequently expressed anger towards women who organize the annual march for womens’ rights, after many of them publicly called out his scripts for being heavily prejudiced against women and promoting male supremacy.
