RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has saluted the bravery of the man who saved the Holy Quran from being burnt.

In his tweet, Major Asif Ghafoor posted that he praised the bravery of Ilyas who jumped off the fence and saved the Holy Quran from burning.

Asif Ghafoor wrote, “Salute to brave Ilyas for displaying the courage to stop an absolutely deplorable action. Such Islamophobia based provocations only promote hatred & extremism.”

In a video on social media, a man named Ilyas jumped off the fence and struck the protestor who was trying to burn the Quran in the anti-Islam rally in Norway.

Ilyas has become a top trend at twitter for showing such bravery in an anti-Islam protest.
